JAMMU, Jan 14: Bawa Hospital, Multispeciality Hospital and Trauma Care Centre, one of the oldest hospitals of Amritsar announced free OPD’s in Jammu every second and fourth Sunday of a month.
The OPD will be conducted by Dr Ranbir Singh Bawa (DNB Ortho, D’Ortho, MCh Ortho) at Life Health Care Centre, near Easyday, Lower Roop Nagar, Jammu from 9 am to 2 pm.
Addressing the press conference Dr Ranbir said that the free OPD is being conducted keeping in view rising spine and joint problems faced by J &K patients and to reduce their physical and financial expenditure.
Briefing about the hospital Dr Ranbir aid that Dr RS Bawa, Senior Orthopaedic consultant has been visiting Srinagar from 1975-1989.
Regarding Bawa Hospital, he said the Hospital is located in prime location in Amritsar at Majitha Road, near Govt. Eye Hospital.
The various facilities available in the hospital include minimally invasive spine surgery, joint replacement and other general surgeries.
In this connection, an OPD Camp was held today which witnessed a participation of around 150 patients.
