SKCC outplays GCCC by 29 runs; leads series by 2-0

JAMMU, Jan 14: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) thrashed Game Changer Cricket Club X1 by a margin of 29 runs to take an invincible 2-0 lead in the ongoing T-20 series ‘Say Yes To Future No To Drugs’ being played at R S Pura Cricket Ground, here.
The series is being organized by Avinash Uttam, skipper Game Changer Cricket Club XI.
After winning toss, SKCC chose to bat first and set a target of 159 runs with the loss of 9 wickets in stipulated 20 overs.
Anil Langeh scored highest 46 runs in 26 balls, while Anmol Manhas scored 26 runs in 21 balls and Pankaj Khajuria also chipped in with 21 runs off 14 balls.
For Game Changer Cricket Club XI, Rinku took four wickets. Gourav, Rahul and Sourash took one wicket each.
Chasing target, Game Changer Cricket Club XI were bundled out on 130 runs and lost the match.
Vikrant scored highest 33 runs in 38 balls for the team while Avinash Uttam scored 24 runs in 24 balls.
From SKCC, Pankaj and Jimmy shared 2 wickets each. Sachin also took 1 wicket. Pankaj Khajuria was declared as the man of the match for his all round performance in the match.  Former minister and Senior National Conference leader Babu Rampal was the chief guest on the occasion while Mohinder Singh, Vice president National Conference (Jammu Province) was the guest of honour and Rajeshwar Singh, Secretary Youth National Conference presided over the function.
The guests distributed medals among the winners and runners-up teams, besides cricket kits and bats were also presented to SKCC.
Earlier, President and skipper SKCC Aman Cheema felicitated guests with souvenirs.
