JAMMU, Jan 30: The Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association in its general body meeting at village Hakkal here have urged for declaring birthday of their Guru as public holiday in district Jammu.
The Batwal members took this decision while finalizing the arrangements of activities to be organized on eve of 117th Guru Gyagi’s Birth Commemorative Function slated to be held on February 14 at Shahzadpur Kothi.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Capt Kamal Chand Motan, Sub Maj Gunni Ram Kaith, Baldev Chand Sandhu, Sub Hans Raj Kaith, Sub Narayan Dass Bassa, Hav Mohan Lal Motan, Naib-Sarpanch Som Nath Tugga, Mela Ram Tugga, Nand Lal Lakhotra, Waryam Chand Motan, Dev Raj Tugga, Rashpal Chand Bassa, Naresh Kumar Kaith, Bishan Dass Motan and Chaman Lal Kaith.
