KATHUA, Apr 16: Basohli police has arrested two minor boys for alleged murder of their colleague in Basohli school on April 13 evening.
The two minor boys who were arrested by the police for their alleged involvement in the murder included Harish, son of Preetam and Lucky son of Dianchand of Ward 13 Basohli.
The duo was arrested by police after thorough investigation. According to SDPO Basohli Sukhdev Singh a case under FIR Number 36/16 under Section 302 RPC has been registered against them in Basohli PS. The SDPO said that inquiry will still continue to find out the total motive behind the murder.
Police said that Karan had gone to the Model School on the fateful day for playing as usual. The two boys who had developed the rivalry with Karan over a mobile phone took him to an isolated place in the school and murdered him there. His body was later found in a bathroom by his family members.
The police had nabbed some suspects on the next day of murder among them the formal FIR was registered against the duo today after proper investigation.
Police said that Karan had given his mobile to Harish for exchange and Harish handed over the same to Lucky and later Lucky did not return the mobile to Karan though he demanded the same repeatedly. This developed an enmity among them. As Karan was pressing hard them for return of mobile the duo took him to an isolated place in the School to silence his voice once for all.
This cold blooded murder of a 14 year boy has shocked every one in the area.
