JAMMU, Mar 4: Senior BJP leader, Omi Khajuria has urged the Postal Department to provide necessary infrastructure at Muthi Post Office where the customers are facing problems due to lack of infrastructure facilities.
Khajuria in a statement issued here, today said that the employees of the Post Office are well cooperative but they lack proper infrastructure for work like computers etc. He said with one computer the staff can’t work and show quick results owing to which the customers coming for Speed Post of their letters, Parcel and other postal related works have to wait for a long time as with one computer the staff can’t tackle all the customers properly and they have to wait a lot of time.
Khajuria said this way the customers’ time also gets wasted as for a speed post or parcel etc they have to wait for a long time. Maintaining that this being the age of technology where the computer has become an important ingredient of life, Khajuria said that the Postal authorities should look into the matter and provide all basic infrastructure to Muthi Post Office so that the customers are not put to hardships in future.
