JAMMU, June 8: Five day long basic civil defence training programme concluded at SOS Home Channi.
On the occasion, Amrish Khajuria, Secretary and Urmil Khajuria, Principal SOS Home requested for imparting such training programmes in future also.
Around 27 students attend the training programme. Civil Defence cheque and cheques were distributed among the students.
At the end of the programme, Tajinder Kour, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu requested the students to join the Civil Defence because Civil Defence is the Defence of the people by the people for the people.
Among others present were Paramjit Kumar, Deputy Chief Warden, Alok Nanda, Deputy Divisional Warden, HC Ram Dayal Saini, constable Rajinder Kumar and constable Parshotam Kumar, Civil Defence Instructors.
The programme was organized by Santosh Magotra, Divisional Warden Division No. 4.
