JAMMU, Nov 29: Senior BJP leader and JMC Councilor, Ward-41, Sanjay Kumar Baru today organized a meeting of prominent residents and party workers at Wazir Lane, Bohri in the presence of BJP Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, Ward president, Ashok Wazir to present his report card of various developmental works executed in his Ward after completion of successful four years tenure as JMC Councilor.
He congratulated the residents of area for getting approval of Nallah from Paloura Police Nakkah, Akhnoor road to main road Talab Tillo near Luthra Public School with an estimated cost of Rs 3.55 crore and new sewerage project with the estimate cost of 24 crore is also cleared by Empowerment Committee.
Addressing the gathering, Sanjay Kumar Baru said under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development works are witnessed in full swing after 73rd and 74th amendment in JK(UT). He said that during his tenure as Ward councilor , he has planned, executed and completed various development works of public importance like construction of a number of deep drains, lanes, paver tiles and black topping worth Rs 16 crore which he got sanctioned for the Ward. To upgrade electrical infrastructure, new 100kv and 250kv transformers were installed and old wires were replaced by newly covered cables at Patta Paloura, Shanti Vihar, Priyadarshini lanes, PattaChungi, Suryavihar, Anand Nagar and HazuriBagh.
He said old dysfunctional drinking water pipes were replaced with new ones to ensure safe and clean water supply.
