Baru listens problems of Ward 41 residents

JAMMU, Aug 19: BJP State secretary & local Councilor, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) from Ward No. 41, Sanjay Baru extensively toured the Ward to have at and on spot study of problems of the residents there.
Local Councilor, during the tour was accompanied by the JMC and PHE officials to take immediate remedial measures for the issues concerning the residents of the Ward. AEE Works, Vinay Arora, JE PHE, Suresh Sharma along with supervisors and other official machinery were present on the spot.
Locals put forth their issues before the Councilor and the officials and sought the immediate redressal of their demands. They said that they have full faith on the leadership of PM Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah and want to thank BJP leadership for the bold decision taken to abrogate Article 370, thus paving way for the development of the State.
They requested that now this great decision must be augmented by the Smart City Project implementation and particular attention be given to the sanitation and especially drinking water supply in the area.
Sanjay Baru, while touring the Hajuri Bagh, Lane No. 5 gave patient hearing to the issues put forth by the residents. He sought the active cooperation of the officials in mitigating the sufferings of the people. He said that all the old & worn out drinking water supply pipes are being replaced with the funds pending in former Minister, Sat Sharma’s CDF.
He said that this work is being carried out at an estimated cost of Rs 18.5 lakh exclusively reserved for replacing the drinking water pipes of Patta Chungi Basti and Anand Vihar Lane No. 2. He further added that pipes will also be replaced in Colonel Colony and Mint Leaf Lane, Surya Vihar and other areas. He said that black topping and paver tile work of Lane No. 5 Hajuri Bagh will also be started soon after the rainy season. Regarding sanitation, he put forth the active plan with the help of JMC team and assured the locals that their every single issue will be promptly taken care of.
