JAMMU, June 3: BJP senior leader and JMC corporate, Sanjay Kumar Baru along with concerned officers of Power Development Department (PDD) and technical representatives of M/S Mishri Lal Associates Pvt.Ltd conducted an extensive tour of the Ward Number 41 along with local prominent and finalised various locations in consultation with locals at Hazuri Bagh, Anand Nagar, SuryaVihar and Patta Chungi etc. where one 400 kv transformer, nine 250 kv transformers will be installed along with replacement of damaged electric poles and old wires with new poles and cable wires as per the contract guidelines.
While talking to media persons, Baru said that he has approached higher authorities of PDD time and again and ultimately got sanction of 10 new transformers and with this most of the electricity power crisis in the Ward will be mitigated.
Baru, while deliberating with locals assured that he will leave no stone unturned to develop his Ward as a “Model Ward” and further directed technical representatives of M/s Mishri Lal Associates Pvt. Ltd to complete the task of installation of all 10 transformers in a stipulated time frame so that people of the Ward may get benefit of the same at the earliest and get rid of problem of power fluctuations.
Prominent people of the Ward considering it a good move, highly appreciated the efforts of former Minister and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) and Sanjay Baru, the local Councilor for upgradation of electricity infrastructure in the Ward and paid their gratitude for all development works including construction of nearly 70 percent lanes and drains in last 2 years despite this pandemic.
