JAMMU, Oct 26: Barbeque Nation, one of the most successful casual dining restaurant chains in India, launched its newest outlet in Jammu.
Spread over 4000 square feet, it is located opposite the New Choice Resort Club, in the winter capital of J&K. The opening ceremony of restaurant was graced by Balgran – a charitable home for destitute children and Rotary Inner Wheels Home for mentally retarded children, who did the inauguration. This is 87th outlet of Barbeque Nation PAN India.
Foodies in the valley can now experience the joy of grilling their own vegetarian and non-vegetarian barbeques on live grills, embedded on the tables at the restaurant. Continuing with the brand’s ‘customers first’ philosophy, the new outlet can seat and serve over 100 guests. The outlet sports a white-orange logo, with a crown atop the brand name, in line with its new theme of decor.
Barbeque Nation pioneered ‘DIY’ (do-it-yourself) cuisine with a concept of live on-the-table grill, and is the largest casual dining brand in the country. The restaurant offers a pre-fixed menu with a fixed price. The menu is drawn from Mediterranean, American, Oriental, Asian and Indian cuisines. Customers can grill starters in a range of marinades and sauces and enjoy them right off the skewers, on their tables.
The eat-all-you-can buffet at Barbeque Nation showcases a diversity of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Starters like PeriPeri Chicken Tangdi, Cajun Spiced Potatoes, Basil Pineapple and Grilled Prawns deserve a special mention.
The main course on offer includes some mouth-watering non-vegetarian dishes ranging from Fish curry and Chicken curry to Mutton Rogan Josh and Dhola Dhari Chicken. For vegetarians, Barbeque Nation offers delectable main course dishes such as Handi Biryani, Hariyali Kebab, Kotmeri Chi Paneer and Tandoori Paneer Tikka.
To satiate the sweet tooth, the dessert menu comprises Chocolate Walnut Brownie, Gulab Jamun and Kesari Phirnee, along with a wide range of Kulfis at the restaurant’s most famous Kulfi Nation counter.
