Bar to suspend work in courts till April 17

JAMMU, Apr 12: Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association has decided to suspend work in all the courts including High Court till April 17.
The decision was taken in a meeting of General House held under the Presidentship of B.S. Slathia, Senior Advocate & President of the Bar.
After threadbare deliberations the General House unanimously decided that Bar will continue to suspend work in all the courts including High Court till April 17, 2018, said Slathia while addressing press conference.

It was also decided that meeting of   Civil Society will  be held  on April 15, 2018 in the Conference Hall of District Court Complex, Jammu to decide the future course of action.
Advocate Gagan Basotra, former Senior  Additional Advocate General, was appointed as Incharge Media Cell to coordinate  on day-to-day affairs and decisions of the Bar with the local & national media.
Meanwhile, work remained suspended on 9th day today in   Kathua, Samba, Udhampur, Bishnah, Reasi, Basholi, Hiranagar, Bhaderwah, Billawar, Akhnoor  & other Muffasil  Courts of  Jammu province.
