Bar seeks expeditious probe into attack on Judge’s family

JAMMU, Dec 7: J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu today sought expeditious investigation into attack on the family members of Sub-Judge Naushad Ahmed Khan by some persons including police head constable at Dhar Galoon in Balakote area of Mendhar in Poonch district.
The Bar, in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its president, Abhinav Sharma strongly condemned the act of the criminals and expressed grave concern over the incident.
The Bar called upon the Police to expedite the investigation and apprehend the accused and check such incidents so that faith of the public in police and administration is restored. “The security agencies are requested to ensure safety and security of Judicial Officers as well as their family members”, the Bar said.
The Bar has also sought expeditious investigation into the incident.
