JAMMU, Jan 27: To help the sick and suffering people of the society in saving their precious lives, Bank of Baroda under their Corporate Social Responsibilities provided financial assistance to those poor patients/destitutes who are suffering from different ailments mainly Cancer/ HIV/ Heart diseases in their medical treatment for their livelihood on case to case basis.
Drafts were distributed today to Cancer/HIV/ Cardio patients and poor widows by Dalbir Singh Bandral (Branch Head, Kachi Chawni, Branch), Sohan Lal Bavoria (Branch Head, Purani Mandi, Branch) and Sanjeev Abrol (Branch Head, Raghunath Bazar Branch) in presence of Dinesh Gupta, Honourary Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region.
While distributing the drafts to the beneficiaries they complimented the efforts being made by the Indian Red Cross Society to identify, reach out to the poor needy and minimise their sufferings by extending them timely help by various means whether cash, medicines or the appliances.
Meanwhile, Red Cross has sought the support and cooperation of all those philanthropists who wish to be associated or want to contribute in the adoption of patients for their treatment.
