Bank considering PO aspirants’ plea on recruitment criteria: Chhibber

JAMMU, May 29: Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the J&K Bank, R K Chhibber has said that bank is considering the request of PO aspirants from J&K with regard to drop 60 % marks condition in degree exam, for the posts of Probationary Officers being advertised by the bank in near future.
Responding to the appeal of the educated youth from Jammu region with regard to follow RBI guidelines and criteria being adopted for the SBI, PNB, Bank of India, Bank of Baroda and other major bank of the country for recruitment of Bank POs, which appearted in the `Excelsior’ two days ago, the J&K Bank Chairman said that Bank Management is considering the request of the educated youth.
Meanwhile, a deputation of the youth wing of Mohyal Sabha, Jammu also projected the issue before the Chairman. They also projected the other issues of the educated youth. They welcomed the decision of Govt for appointing Chhibber as permanent Chairman of JK Bank for three years. They also felicitated Chhibber in his office chamber at Zonal Office , Rail Head complex, Jammu.
Prominent among those who accompanied include Karan Bali, Laqsh Chhibber, Himanshu Dutta, Sparsh Dutta Naman Chhibber, Bhanu Bali, Harsh Chhibber, Ankit Vaid, Pranav Vaid and Girdhari Lal.
The delegation appreciated the role the Chairman in infusing confidence in the general public and the business community for development of the bank .
Chhibber thanked the youth members of Mohyal Sabha and assured them that he will do everything for betterment of educated youth, society and business community by strengthening the relationship with public and creating employment opportunities for educated youth.
