JAMMU, Nov 30: Natrang Director Balwant Thakur participated in National Children Theatre Seminar held at Historic Baan Theatre in Tezpur, Assam.
Organised by North East Centre of National Academy of Music and Drama Ministry of Culture Government of India in which Balwant Thakur reflected upon the theatre scene in India and deliberated on his vision of children theatre and the emerging global trends in children theatre experiments.
Top practitioners of children theatre in India participated and deliberated on various aspects of Children Theatre.
Prominent amongst them included Kiron Bhatanagar, V.K Sharma, K.G Krishnamurthy, Bhaskar Goswami, Nipam Kumar and Supriti Gosh including Balwant Thakur.
Balwant Thakur’s children plays ‘Mere Hisse Ki Dhoop Kahan Hai’ and ‘Aap Hamaare Hain’ are as of now the most sought-after and longest running plays in India.
