SRINAGAR, Dec 22: Two books of eminent Urdu poet and writer, Balraj Bakshi were released here, today.
The books entitled “Aasaniyat” and “Mitti kay Mausam” were released in an impressive function organized by Nageena International at Shehenshah Hotel, here. A book written in Kashmiri language by Mohammed Yusaf Taing, former Secretary of Cultural Academy, was also released in the programme.
The veteran Urdu fiction writer Noor Shah presented a paper on the literary acumen of Balraj Bakshi, who could not participate in the programme due to his prolonged illness.
Programme was presided over by (retired) Justice Bashir Ahmed Kirmani. Professor Shafeeqa Parveen was also present in the presidium. Vehshi Sayeed, the chairman of Nageena International presented the welcome address.
