Bali urges admn to provide better facilities at quarantine centres

JAMMU, May 25: Showing his serious concern towards the problems being faced by the inmates of different quarantine centres set up by the authorities, former Minister and senior BJP leader, Bali Bhagat on Monday appealed to the Union Territory (UT) administration to take effective measures to minimize woes of the returnees.
He said that UT administration should ensure quality food, good bedding facilities, hygiene and timely testing results in all the quarantine centres so that people should go to their homes after completing the set Covid-19 protocol.
Bali Bhagat was addressing BJP cadre in a function of facilitation of newly nominated office bearers of BJP “rural district” office bearers at ” Karma Palace” in block Bhalwal. He also appealed BJP workers to visit different quarantine centers and help the authorities in mitigating the sufferings of the people and also lauded the role of workers during lock down. He appealed to party workers to reaffirm the importance of social distancing, help those in need and enable Jammu and Kashmir to overcome COVID-19.
He suggested the people that whenever you walk out, make sure you use a face cover and practice social distancing and the right preventive discipline.
He said Covid-19 is a mysterious disease, but we should take all the important steps as suggested by experts. “I expect every BJP worker will keep himself, his family and his society safe. With this emotion, we must walk towards victory”, he added.
On this occasion, BJP Jammu Rural district president, Rajinder Singh Chib, vice president, Babu Ram Bhagat, general secretaries, Capt (retd), K L Sharma, Sham Lal Sharma, secretaries, Ved Parkash Sharma, Capt (retd) Kuldip Singh Lenghe, Sat Pal Sharma, Purnima Sharma, spokespersons, Kuldip Singh Chib, Kuldip Kour, Vikas Gupta, cashier, Rajesh Singh Bhalwal, co-cashier Manohar Lal Bhagat, OBC Morcha president, Shamsher Singh Prajapati and other district executive members were present.
