JAMMU, Aug 25: Former Minister and MLA Raipur-Domana, Bali Bhagat today inaugurated the construction work of a 100 meter runnel at Purkhoo with an estimated cost of Rs. 10.50 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhagat said that various measures have been taken for up-gradating civic amenities in Raipur-Domana Constituency on modern lines.
He further added that focus is being paid on improving road network, bridges and health amenities He said that he is making all efforts to ensure effective implementation of various welfare schemes so that their benefit trickles down to the most deserving.
Later Bhagat visited Baran Panchayat and announced Rs. 5 lakh from his Constituency Development Fund for a culvert.
Assistant Executive Engineer (R&B-II), Ex-District President (BJP) Rural Sukhdev Singh Jamwal, Mandal Pradhan (BJP-Rural) Ved Prakash Sharma and Mangal Singh also accompanied Bhagat.
