Jammu, Jan 12: MLA from Raipur-Domana Assembly Segment and general secretary of the State unit of BJP, Bali Bhagat today assured that people that BJP would take every possible step to solve day-to-day problems of the masses.
Addressing a public meeting at Kangrail, Pouni Chak and Gurah Keran, Bali Bhagat expressed his gratitude to the people for giving their over-whelming support to the BJP in the just concluded Assembly polls.
People of Jammu region have put great responsibility on the newly elected MLAs of the party, he said, adding they (MLAs) would shoulder this responsibility with dedication and sincerity as their sole aim is to serve the people.
“Politics of BJP is not just to enjoy power but our politics is to serve the people with dedication and commitment”, he said and assured the people that as their representative he would serve them with full zeal and commitment.
Recalling history of BJP in Jammu and Kashmir, Bhagat said that power was never a priority of BJP in this State.
“Unlike other parties we never run for power, our aim is to the protect dignity and honour of the people who have expressed their over-whelming support to the party”, Bhagat said.
Responding to the demands of the people, Bhagat said that he has already decided to initiate developmental activities in his Constituency with the public participation. He stated that he would take consent of the local population while starting any developmental project in this Constituency.

District general secretary, Jammu Rural, Omi Khajuria also addressed the meeting and expressed gratitude to the people for their support to the BJP.
Joginder Singh, Madhu Sudan , Dwarka Nath Sharma, Madan Lal Panch and Brahmjot were also present in the meeting.
