Balbir appointed national secretary Guru Ravidass Vishwa Mahapeeth

JAMMU, Mar 29: Balbir Ram Rattan, presently serving as Vice Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes Development Corporation, has been appointed as national secretary of Guru Ravidass Vishwa Mahapeeth (World Grand Centre).
A communication confirming his appointment as national secretary of the said organisation signed by Sant Satvinder Heera Ji Maharaj, Peethadheeshvar (Chief of the Grand Centre), has been received by him today in this regard. The objectives of the organisation is to unite the followers of great saint Guru Ravidass Ji at the global level and familiarise them with the preachings  of the great saint and connect them with the basic philosophy of Dharma.
Sant Satvinder Heera Ji Maharaj has expressed his hope that the active cooperation of Balbir Ram Rattan as national secretary will be available to the Mahapeeth in propagating the preaching of Shri Guru Ravidass Ji and the social works initiated by the Mahapeeth among the common masses. He further hoped that Balbir Ram Rattan will also create awareness for social equality among the people and help in eradicating social evils, including the religious conversions prevailing in the society.
With Dushyant Kumar Gautam of Delhi as International president and Suresh Rathore of Uttrakhand as national president, this organisation has 25 national office bearers from different states of the country and Balbir Ram Rattan has been given representation from Jammu & Kashmir State.
