JAMMU, Mar 24: Former Chief Secretary and MLC, Vijay Bakaya today appealed the people to support the Government in its constructive work undertaken for the welfare of the people of the State.
Addressing a meeting at Suryavanshi Nagar Lane No 2, Lower Roop Nagar he assured all possible help for the upliftment of the whole area of Lower Roop Nagar.
The meeting was organized by Suryavanshi Nagar Mohalla Welfare Committee and it was also addressed by Triloki Nath Peshin a well known social activist.
Prof J L Bhat in his welcome address appealed the MLC to release required amount from his Constituency Development Fund for installing a power transformer. Later Mr Bakaya gave an assurance to provide the funds for the same.
M K Yogi president N C Minority Cell and Pinky Bhat president Women Wing of the Cell also addressed the meeting.
