JAMMU, Jan 11: CJM Jammu Amarjeet Singh Langeh has rejected the bail application of two persons namely Amarjeet Singh and Pawan Preet Singh, who were arrested by the Crime Branch for issuing fake and forged certificates.
From the possession of these persons, the Crime Branch had recovered incriminating material like stamps of Regional Transport Officer, GR Number of Token Tax Renewal, Registration Certificates, Driving Licenses, Police clearance certificate, two photocopies of Driving License, one PVC, paper sheet, blank form of Agriculture Extension Officer and other material.
“The act alluded to petitioners has a deep resonance in the society and grant of bail to petitioners at this stage will surely have the propensity to dent the faith of law abiding citizens in the administration of criminal justice”, the court said, adding “this is all the more important when investigation is at initial stage and crucial aspects involved in the case are yet to be addressed by Investigating agency”.
With these observations, court rejected the bail plea.
