JAMMU, May 18: Presiding Officer of Fast Track Court Kishore Kumar today rejected the bail application of Kamal Kumar, a resident of Bishnah, who was booked by the police in kidnapping, rape and abetment to suicide of minor.
After hearing both the sides, the court observed, “petitioner was arrested for the commission of offence under Section 363/376, 306 RPC and the investigation is at the initial stage”, adding “the petitioner stands arrested for a very heinous offences and as such does not deserve bail at this stage”.
“The arguments of the counsel for the petitioner/accused has no force in view of the gravity of the offence and also the prevailing lawlessness and the increasing crime of rape, molestation and suicide”, the court further observed while rejecting the bail application.
