JAMMU, Feb 9: Sub Registrar Jammu, Khem Raj Sharma today rejected the bail application of Suresh Kumar and Kamaljeet, who were arrested in abetment to suicide case.
According to the police case, one Santosh Kumari committed suicide as her in-laws and husband were harassing her for want of motorcycle as dowry.
After hearing PO Yogesh Nagpal, Sub Registrar observed, “at this stage it can be safely inferred that there are reasonable grounds for believing that the applicants have proximity with the commission of the offence under Section 306 RPC, which is a serious, heinous and non-bailable”.
With these observations, court rejected the bail application.
