Srinagar, Aug 23: Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad, today met People’s Democratic Front (PDF) chairman and MLA Khansahab Hakim Mohammad Yasin to garner his support for the Congress party.
Azad, who arrived from New Delhi went to Hakim Yasin’s Tulsibagh residence to meet him. Azad’s meeting with Yasin comes at a time when BJP is trying to woo smaller political parties of the State for their support ahead of polls to fulfill their agenda of Mission 44+.
Azad sought PDF’s support for the upcoming polls during the meeting.
