KARGIL, (LADAKH) Dec 6: The First Imam Jumma of Kargil, Ayatullah Syed Mohammad Shah Mossavi Mir Waiz Saliskote and Ex Sharai Qazi Anjuman-e-Jaiyat Ullama Huza-e-Ilmiya Asna Ashriya (Islamia School Kargil) passed away last night at his residence at Saliskote. He was 93.
He was the father of Executive Councilor for Social Welfare and Rural Development LAHDC Kargil, Syed Kazim Sabere.
Thousands of people from near by villages gathered at Saliskote and participated in the mourning processions. Their eyes were full of tears and they were beating their chests.
The procession with the Janaza started from Imam Bargha of Saliskote and after passing through the house of the Late Ayatullah gathered at Central Grave Yard of Saliskote where Imam-e-Jumma Wal Jamat Saliskote and the son of the late Ayatollah Hujattul Islam Syed Kazim Sabere offered the funeral prayer and later the departed soul was laid to rest.
Minister of Transport &CAPD Qamar Ali Akhoon and senior leader Kacho Ali Mohammed also participated in funeral procession.
