JAMMU, Nov 16: Director of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India J&K region, organized awareness campaign on mother-child heath mission at MET, Thannamandi, here today. Students of various institutions of Thannamandi participated in the campaign.
Technical lecture was delivered by experts from the Health Department Programme Head, DPF J&K, Gulshan Raina.
During the Programme a quiz competition on the scheme was also conducted. Four prizes were bagged by the students of Govt Degree College Thannamandi namely Tazeem Kouser, Rabia Kouser, Sana Afal and Afreen Kouser. Two prizes were bagged by Govt Girls Hr Sec School, Thannamandi namely Najma ul Nisa and Rozy Kouser, while the other two prizes were claimed by MET Thannamandi namely Ifrah Shakeel and Shaista Kouser. Tariq Arshad, Iqra Kouser and Abida Anjum were given prizes in the programme.
Principal Govt Degree College Thannamandi, Dr Shakeel Raina was the chief guest on the occasion, while Khurshid Bismil presided over the programme.
