JAMMU, Nov 2: Awareness campaign for clean and green environment was organized by RM Public School.
The program started by the lightening of lamp by the chief guest SK Sharma Commissioner Income Tax Department. Arun Sharma Regional Secretary North Bharat Vikas Parishad and Sanjay Gupta Chief Financial Advisor were also present on the occasion.
The guests were welcomed by Chairman Rameshwar Mengi, Trustee Rita Mengi and Principal Ravinder Kour by presenting bouquets and saplings.
The awareness campaign was organized to aware the people of society to clean the environment by avoiding the use of plastic and polythenes. Just like food, water, oxygen and other things, cleanliness is also crucial for healthy physical and mental make up.
A beautiful dance performance with a message of clean and green environment was given by the girls of the school. The students also conducted awareness campaign for cleanliness in the Chowadhi area.
