RAMBAN, Nov 2: Departmental Promotion Committee has granted in-situ promotion to 224 Constables and Followers of IRP 16th Battalion, Ramban.
The DPC was convened under the chairmanship of A K Mahajan-SSP, Commandant IRP 16th Battalion. The committee scrutinized 234 cases (223 Constables and 11 Followers), out of them 224 were found fit and qualified and were granted insitu promotion vide order number 421 of 2019.
The Commandant expressed the hope that the promotion shall be a morale booster for them and they shall work with more zeal, dedication and enthusiasm in future.
