AVM’s concern over neglect of unreserved categories

JAMMU, Mar 14: Arakshan Virodhi Manch (AVM) has expressed deep concern over the neglect of the poor unreserved categories.
Addressing the media persons here today, AVM president, Ram Pal Seth reiterated its demand for the total abolition of existing undemocratic reservation. He demanded Special Support Measurers (SSM) for the needy and deserving irrespective of their caste, religion and region.
He said Manch appealed the people of the country as well as J&K State to give a strong clear message to all political parties by raising voice against reservation and support AVM for its honest, sincere struggle for the welfare of the poor people.
He also announced that a 13-member central working committee of the Manch including Yash Paul Sharma, Raj Kumar Banathia, Sat Pal Sharma, Bhushan Pargal, Kewal Sharma, Tara Singh, Som Nath, Ravi Sawhney, KK Sharma, Kuldeep Singh Slathia, Ashok Sharma, VK Sharma, Suraj Singh, Vishal Paul Gupta and Kamla Sharma has been constituted.
He further announced that AVM, Jammu, has decided to hold a huge meeting at Akhnoor on March 26, 2014 against caste based reservation.
