JAMMU, Dec 19: A meeting of Aarakshan Virodhi Manch (AVM) Jammu was held under the chairmanship of its president, Ram Pal Seth, which discussed threadbare the prevailing status of caste-based reservation at State and national level.
Mr Seth in his address extended full support of the Manch to Joint Action Committee (general category). In the meeting it was decided that Manch would continuously fight for abolition of all types of caste-based reservation, special privileges and concessions being provided on the basis of caste, creed, sex, religion and region.
Manch general secretary Yash Pauk Senson, president IAR Sat Pal Sharma and many others also spoke in the meeting.
