Pahalgam : At least four persons were missing after an avalanche Aru in Pahalgam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
According to the reports, during snow clearance on Pahalgam – Aru road at Gudkhamb point, JCB along with 3-4 persons were taken along by an avalanche.
An official said that the rescue teams and machinery have been swiftly pressed into service to rescue the stuck persons.
Meanwhile BJP MLC Yousuf Sofi has also ordered SDRF team to start rescue operation
