The barbaric attack on Indian national Sarabjit in a Pakistani prison by some goons is quite shocking. The attack reveals the mindset of Pakistan jail authorities who despite knowing the threat to his safety too steps to save him.Second of its kind, the Pakistan Government should have been very sensitive towards Indian prisoners.
Had they been guilty of any crime in the eyes of Pakistan constitution, they should have been dealt accordingly. But nothing that happened.
The jail authorities took law in their hands by allowing goons to indulge in this barbaric attack. As a tit for tat tactics, if such incident takes places inside an Indian jail and the prisoners kill a Pakistani prisoner-then who be responsible for this act.
Surely Government of Pakistan and not India. But this will then start a vicious circle in which only innocents will become victims. There are so many Pak prisoners in Indian jails and there has been no such ugly incidents.
It is high time that Pak Government allows Sarabjit to go home in India.
