Srinagar, Jan 1: Police in Ganderbal today arrested a militant associate who is linked to active Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) operating in the areas of district Ganderbal.
He has been identified as Rayees Ahmad Lone, resident of Gund, Ganderbal.
“As per our records, he is involved in providing support to the active LeT terrorists operating in the area. Initial investigation revealed that the accused had supplied multiple SIM cards to terrorists affiliated with proscribed terror outfit LeT. He had also provided help and assistance to a Pakistani terrorist who was later killed in an encounter at Kullan Ganderbal in year 2019”, police said.
A case FIR No. 69/2019 under relevant Sections of law has been registered at Police Station Gund in the instant matter.
