ASKPC reiterates homeland demand for Pandits

JAMMU, Dec 17: Reiterating its separate homeland demand for Pandits in Kashmir valley, All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) today said that it will launch a decisive movement along with other likeminded KP organizations for attaining the goal.
The organization, which held a meeting here, today under the chairmanship of H L Chatta said that nothing except separate homeland with UT status and free flow of Indian Constitution was acceptable to Pandits who have been the victims of Pak sponsored terrorism and conspiracy of secessionist elements within the Valley.
The meeting demanded one time compensation for educated over-aged youth, three percent reservations in professional colleges for KP youth, scholarship to deserving displaced youth, enhancement of cash relief to Rs 15,000 per family per month, declaration of displaced Pandits as internally displaced people, release of  monthly salary for teachers working in grant –in-aid schools, giving possession of quarters at Jagti to those migrants who have been allotted these quarters and filling up of remaining 3000 jobs under PM’s package by State Government.
