ASKPC for ‘one place settlement’ of KPs in Valley

JAMMU, Aug 12: Taking strong note of the statement of of Union Home Minister, Raj Nath Singh regarding return of Kashmiri Pandits to Valley, All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) in a meeting held today under the chairmanship of its president R K Raina demanded ‘one place settlement’ of Pandits in the Valley.
Reiterating that the situation in the Valley was not conducive for return and there was no guarantee for reoccurrence of genocide of Kashmiri Pandits, Raina said that anti social elements and other secessionist forces are on job of threatening the rehabilitation process of Pandits in the Valley.
Appealing the Home Minster to wait and watch the present scenario in Kashmir, T K Jigyasu, vice president ASKPC said that Kashmiri Pandits are the real inhabitants of the Valley and will never accept the dictates of the secessionists or militants.
Bharat Bhushan Gosain, general secretary ASKPC appealed the Modi-led Government not to take any decision in hurry to ensure safety of the displaced people.
Prominent among others who spoke in the meeting were S K Bhat, SC Chatta, B L Handoo, Veena Gurtoo, Sunil Mahaldar and Ashok Dhar.
