JAMMU, July 18: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) expressed solidarity with PM package employees and other employees who per threat to their lives in Kashmir Valley after the killing of militants on July 8 got forced to shift here in Jammu and are protesting outside Relief Commissioners Office against the total failure of administration. ASKPC joined their protest and ensured its full pledged support to them.
President ASKPC advocate Ravinder Raina addressed the employees, listened to their demand and assured them that ASKPC will take up the issue with the concerned Government agencies and work out solution to their problems. Mr. Raina criticised the Government in their utter failure in giving the fool proof security to the employees and this failure resulted in this present turmoil which compelled employees to shift from valley for which the coalition government in the State and Central Govt is responsible.
vice president ASKPC C L Bhat came heavily on Sate Government for its failure to provide adequate security to the employees, when many of their residential colonies especially at Haal and Kupwara were stormed with stone pelting during the intervening night of July 8 & 9. He also said that there were attempt of loot and arson and setting on fire the employees residential quarters which is testimony to the fact of State govt failure.
Dr.T K Bhat general secretary ASKPC also addressed the employees and assured full help from his organisation and lambasted the government for its failure. He appealed the government to assess the loss caused to the properties of these employees especially the vehicles. Later on the delegation of ASKPC led by Ravinder Raina alongwith vice presidents R K Wangnoo, C L Bhat, Dr T K Bhat,S K Raina,, Veena Gurtoo womens wing president, Ravi Raina ,Sunil Bhat and Deepak Moza and representatives of the package employees met the Relief Commissioner R K Pandita and informed him that employees are not able to resume their duties at the place of their posting in Kashmir Valley and be allowed to mark attendance here.
