SRINAGAR, July 18: Minister of State for Health and Medical Education, Asiea Naqash today visited Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura and took stock of healthcare facilities being provided to the patients and injured there.
The Minister inspected various wards and enquired about the well-being of patients in general and injured persons in particular.
The Minister directed the concerned for ensuring better treatment to the injured for their early recovery. She also asked them for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in and around the Institute.
While interacting with patients and attendants, the Minister assured them that Government has initiated various measures for ensuring adequate availability of life saving drugs for extending better healthcare to the patients in the health institutions.
Interacting with the hospital management, Minister was informed that there is adequate stock of medicines and other necessary equipments in hospital to meet any requirements.
