Asia’s first sports ayurveda hospital in Kerala inaugurated

THRISSUR: The  first Ayurveda Sports Hospital in Asia with advanced treatment facilities for the injured sports men and women in the country, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Thrissur on Saturday.

The Kerala Institute of sports  and ayurveda  and research is intended to help sports persons recover from their injuries by providing ayurveda treatment which will benefit them in the long-run, without any side effects.

The institute has been located in the heart of  Thrissur town in a three-storeyed building of 31,000 sq ft at a cost of Rs 8.61 crores.

The 50-bedded hospital will have two male wards and one female ward, apart from  five ac suite rooms. It has also OP clinics. (AGENCIES)
