Those link roads where macadamisation work couldn’t start this year will be taken up in next plan and no road will remain untouched,” he said.
Bishnah constituency is one of the most important areas of Jammu district which shares international border with Pakistan and its roads are used by defence forces.
Sharma said that due to the efforts of Member Parliament, Jammu, Jugal Kishore the work of Bishnah to Chak Chimna main road was taken over by BRO. “Since then the work on this stretch of road has taken pace and upgradation work is in progress. Once this road is completed it will give a new look and people will see a change with improved road.
People of Bishnah are considered to be the second line defence after BSF and being closed to border they deserve better road connectivity and Modi Government is making it happen.
