Ashok Ogra made Advisor of CEMCA

JAMMU, Aug 31: Noted management and media professional, Ashok Ogra has been made a member of the Advisory Council of the Commonwealth Educ-ational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA), a unit of Commonwealth of Learning, Vancouver for a period of three years.
The vision and mission of CEMCA is to be the foremost agency in Commonwealth Asia that promotes media enabled learning for development and assist Governments and institutions to expand the scale, efficiency and quality of learning by using multiple media in open, distance and technology-enhanced learning.
Ogra was recently conferred with K M Shrivastav Life Time Achievement Award for contribution to media education in the country.
He is currently working as Advisor (MC) in the reputed Apeejay Education Society. He is a regular contributor to Daily Excelsior and has previously worked in Doordarshan and Discovery Channel in senior positions and also taught at the reputed Film Institute, Pune.
