JAMMU, Apr 21: A seminar on ‘Cyber security’ organized by Aryans College of Law, Rajpura in collaboration with Bar Association, Patiala was held here today.
Manvir S. Tiwana, President, Bar Association, Patiala and Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura graced the occasion as special guest.
Dr. Anuj Kumar, Subject Expert & Faculty, Punjab University, Chandigarh, was the keynote speaker.
Dr. Anuj highlighted the importance of cyber security in today’s world. Cybercrime is illegal activity that uses computers, the internet, or network devices for harm. Cybercriminals can commit identity theft, phishing scams, malware, and other digital attacks.
He delivered a talk on the importance of securing critical information infrastructure, endeavouring to equip participants with insights into Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) exercises.
Dr. Anshu Kataria in his address mentioned that the rapid evolution of cyberspace also brings new threats and vulnerabilities. Staying informed about the latest trends in cyber security can help individuals and organizations protect themselves from cyber-attacks data breaches and other online security threats.
