JAMMU, Dec 20: MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, is regularly holding Public Darbar at his office from Monday to Saturday to address the issues and concerns of the people of Jammu West.
The initiative aims to provide a direct platform for residents to interact with their elected representative and seek timely redressal of their grievances.
During the Public Darbar today, people from different parts of the constituency raised matters related to civic amenities, development works, infrastructure, electricity, water supply, sanitation, roads and other day-to-day problems.
Arvind Gupta listened patiently to the grievances of the public and issues on-the-spot directions to the concerned departments for prompt action.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that public Darbar is an effective medium to strengthen the bond between the public and their representative and ensures transparent and responsive governance.
He emphasized that the welfare of Jammu West remains his top priority and assured that genuine issues would be resolved in a time-bound manner.
The regular Public Darbar has been appreciated by local residents, who expressed satisfaction over the accessibility of the MLA and his proactive approach towards addressing public issues.
Arvind Gupta reiterated his commitment to continue holding Public Darbar sessions to ensure effective public service delivery and overall development of Jammu West.
