VIJAYPUR, Oct 18: Senior Congress leader and PCC member Arun Sharma today kick started work on main lane at village Rara in Vijaypur Assembly constituency and also addressed a public gathering here.
Highlighting various local issues, the Congress leader assured that he would leave no stone unturned to ensure that people of this village get all the basic facilities like un-interrupted supply of power and water, lanes and drains etc.
He also announced that work on construction of a culvert on canal crossing, road from Rari to Kothe, bath room near Cremation Ground, installation of electric poles, etc would also be started soon.
Arun Sharma strongly criticized the BJP-PDP coalition Government for its alleged failure on all fronts and said that corruption as well as unemployment has increased during the present regime. “Only Congress party and its leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Ghulam Nabi Azad and G A Mir are concerned for the welfare of common people while the NDA regime and BJP have personal agendas,” he alleged and reminded that funds for the construction of lane in Rara, were provided by Ghulam Nabi Azad from his CDF.
Arun Sharma also appealed the Congress workers to work hard for highlighting the grievances of general public and strengthen the party also
