JAMMU, Sept 10: Apprecia-ting artists for spreading message of Lord Krishna, Vice-President, BJP Yudhvir Sethi today said that the celebrations of Krishan Janmashtami is part of the local culture and Krishna Leela is loaded with message for the whole mankind.
Yudhvir was addressing a gathering of people at the Krishna Leela organised by Shri Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj, here at Dewana Mandir. He was chief guest at the event.
The Krishna Leela was attended by a large number of devotees and people were mesmerised by the performance of the artists.
To encourage the artists, Yudhvir awarded Rs Twenty Thousand to the artists.
Among others the event was attended by Anil Massom President , Ramnik Mahajan vice president, Satpaul Sharma general secretary, Gurdas Sharma (advisor, Kulbhushan Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Sarpriya Chopra ,Ashok Gupta and Micky Dutta.
