Art exhibition of paintings inaugurated at Kala Kendra

JAMMU, Apr 30: An art exhibition of paintings, titled ‘Creative Art- Strides & Strokes’ was inaugurated today at Kala Kendra, Jammu.
Priya Sethi, former Minister of State, was the chief guest while Ayodhya Gupta, District president of BJP (Jammu West) was the guest of honour and Prem Gupta, District general secretary, BJP (Jammu West) was the special guest on this occasion.
Harshvardhan, an eminent painter and O P Sharma, Director JCCA, shared the dais. A large number of intellectuals, art- lovers, musicians and artists were present on this occasion.
Priya Sethi appreciated the art works of Tushar Verma who has put a lot of effort with creativity to bring out this show. She said that the youth has great potential to do innovations and proceed with speed in the age of electronic revolution.
Ayodhya Gupta also expressed his views on this occasion. Tushar Verma spoke on his art works during the programme.
According to Dr Sunil Khosa, an art critic of J&K, “Tushar in his compositions attempts to convey a mixed feel of emotions. He translates in his own way a variety of themes that are based on his own feelings, ethos and emotive grandeur. His paintings attract the on looker with curiosity as his method of tradition of rendering is unique and noble. Emotional interplay of just fullness is his primary focus. In some of his painted compositions like ‘In Search of Livelihood’, ‘The Face and Steering’, ‘Unconditional Bond’ and ‘Stages of Life’ are mirrored through his aesthetic strides on canvas.”
Prominent among other present on the occasion, included Jatin Sethi, Anil Saraf, Rohit Verma, Deepak Kuma, Ankush Kesar, Dr Milan Sharma, Amarjeet Singh Amar and Jaswinder Singh.
Earlier, Sonika Chalotra presented the welcome address. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Sushmita Banerjee. Tushar Verma extended the vote of thanks.
