DUDU, June 19: Sub Divisional Magistrate Dudu, Dr Tahir Firdous reviewed arrangements for the historic four-day Shivgali Top Mela/ Yatra in a meeting held at Sub Divisional headquarters here today in district Udhampur.
During the meeting the officers from all the departments including PDD, PHE, Health, R&B RDD, Police etc were present. The SDM who is also the chairman of the Yatra Committee, directed all the concerned officials to ensure better power and water supply to the pilgrims. The R&B authorities were directed to ensure road clearance from Ramnagar -Majori- Basangarh and Chenani- Latti side.
The Police authorities were directed to ensure better security arrangements and ensure smooth conduct of Yatra/ Mela. It was stressed upon the Health authorities to set up dispensaries at three locations including Shivgali Mela site, Kirchi and Dudu besides making arrangement for two ambulances there. Some prominent persons of the area also attended the meeting.
