JAMMU, May 2: All JK Sadguru Kabir Sabha (JKSKS) discussed schedule as well as arrangements for the celebration of Kabir Jayanti in its general body meeting held today at Kabir Bhawan, Chak Avtara, Bishnah.
It was unanimously decided that Kabir Jayanti which is falling on 14-06-2022, shall be celebrated as per the prescribed schedule at the District HQs. However Jayanti functions shall be celebrated at local level/Block HQs as per the dates finalized by the committees themselves. It was decided that Kabir Jayanti function will be held in Jammu district at Bishnah HQ on June 12 and Arnia, Phinder, Pindi, Joian, Laswara, Salehar, Badyal Kazian, Bhalwal, Akhnoor, Baguna, Utter Behni, Mangal & Nandpur on June 14.
It was decided that the function will be organized at Kathua HQ on June 26 and Nagri, Hiranagar, Phaleypur, Budhi, Bhagey Chak, Mareen, Dharamkot & Patel Nagar on the dates decided by the committees while the celebration will be held at Reasi HQ on June 14 and Karta, Pouni, Sarmegha and Sirla on the dates finalized by the committees. The meeting further decided to hold function at Udhampur HQ on June 19 and Ramnagar, Majalta, Kalwante, Mali & Sher-manjara on the dates finalised by the committee’s. It was agreed to celebrate Kabir Jayanti at Rajouri and Sunderbani on June 14.
