RAJOURI, June 7:   With an objective to familiarise the youth of  Rajouri and adjoining areas with the Army recruitment procedures, Ace of  Spades Division of the Army conducted a recruitment training programme  for the local youth at Advance Landing Ground (ALG) here.
The main aim of conducting this training was to give them an insight into the recruitment procedures and also to motivate them to join the Army. The recruitment training capsule was conducted from May 25 to June 6, 2016. Every day approximately 75  youths from Rajouri district including Nowshera, Mendhar and other far flung areas attended this training capsule.
The recruitment training capsule focused on physical endurance and awareness on recruitment procedures keen interest was shown by the local youth in acquainting themselves with the various modes of entry and they actively participated in various classes. Apart from teaching leadership lessons to these youths topics of the current affairs, Mathematics, General Science and Indian Army related issues were also covered.
Regular physical and medical tests were also carried out. The registration for the capsule was conducted from May 23 to 24 in which 115  youths got themselves registered. Screening test was conducted on May 24,  2016 in which the youth underwent physical & medical tests, documents checks and other related procedures of recruitment and finally 75 youths were selected. The youths were also motivated by organising motivational lectures, screening of movies at  Raina Auditorium and visit to Hall of  Fame. Written progressive test were conducted as per training schedule to monitor the progress of the candidates.
