Army recruitment rally at Samba from April 2

JAMMU, Mar 7: An Army recruitment rally will be held at Samba from April 2 to April 18, 2016, for all categories for the candidates of district Jammu, Samba and Kathua besides Udhampur, Reasi, Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar, Pooch Rajouri.
A defence spokesman said that the recruitment is based on the on-line application system which is a change from the erstwhile open rally system. The screening of the candidates will commence at 5 am sharp on each day of the rally, commencing from April 2, whether soldier general duty,  technical , clerk, nursing assistant  or tradesman.
The spokesman further said that all the candidates who have registered or intend to get themselves registered on online through website  www.joinindianarmy.nic.in  are required to report  at the rally site Samba Stadium as per the dates for their respective  tehsils/ districts. The age required is  minimum 17 and half years and maximum 23 years. For soldier general duty the maximum age should be 21 years.
April 2 has been decided for all category candidate from Rajouri district, April 3 for district Poonch, April 4  for the candidates from Tehsil Samba and  new tehsils of Rajpura and Ghagwal,  April 5 for the candidates of Tehsil Vijaypur, Ramgarh and Bari Brahmana and new tehsils created in district Samba besides left out candidates of April 4 of  Samba, April 6 for the candidates of  Tehsils  R S Pura, Arnia, Bishnah, Suchetgarh, Nagrota, Pargwal, Maira Mandriyan,  Kheri Palli,  Mandal and Jourian besides other tehsils created in Jammu district, April 7 for candidates from Jammu tehsil,  Jammu North, West, South,  Bahu etc,   Akhnoor, Bhalwal, Chowki Chora, Dansal, Khour and Marh besides new tehsils created from these tehsils of Jammu district besides left out candidates of April 6, April 8 candidates from Udhampur district, April 9 from tehsils Basohli, Bani and Kathua and new tehsils created from these tehsils of Kathua district, April 10 candidates from Hiranagar, Billawar, Dinga Amb, Marheen, Ramkote or any other tehsil created from these tehsils of Kathua district besides left out candidates of previous day,  April 11 for the candidates from district Doda, April 12 for district Ramban, April 13 for district Kishtwar and April 14 for candidates of all category, double registration cases  and dependents of serving soldiers who have taken outside sanction from HQ Rtg Zone, Jallandhar Cantt. The common entrance test for all categories will be held at Samba Stadium on April 24.
